The CDKF 1200 Founders Circle and Founders Honor Circle

All Kiwanians of the Carolinas District share in the ownership of their Foundation. The Carolinas District Kiwanis Foundation is organized as a non-profit corporation with the purpose of building and promoting the development and welfare of citizens within all communities in the Carolinas.

Your Foundation leadership, with your support, has initiated the CDKF 1200 Founders Circle to expand the Endowment to better support the many needs of children in Kiwanis communities. Your Foundation leadership realizes that Kiwanians would like their Foundation to be more visible and to support the District charitable projects.

In order for us to fulfill this vision it is absolutely imperative that your Foundation increase its Endowment to a level exceeding a million dollars. This partnership between Kiwanis clubs, the Carolinas District, and your Foundation will have a greater impact on the communities that the Kiwanis family serves.

These awards, initiated in the summer of 2004, are the highest awards to be recognized by the Carolinas District Kiwanis Foundation. Their purpose is to increase the Foundation Endowment Fund by more than one million dollars over the next three years. The goal is to secure 1200 Kiwanians in the District to pledge $1,200 to become members. The endowment gift is 100% tax deductible.
