Booster Seat

Booster seats are fairly easy to install. You merely place the seat in the car, the child sits on the seat and fastens the lap shoulder belt.

With this seat, the child must use a seating position with a lap shoulder belt.

DO NOT use a lap belt only.

The illustrations shown to the left show how the adult seatbelt rides up over the abdomen and cuts into the child's neck. When elevated by the booster seat, the lap belt fits over the upper thighs and the shoulder belt goes directly across the middle of the chest and over the center of the should without cutting into the neck.
