Child Restraint Basics

When considering child passenger safety issues we must take into consideration all passengers in the vehicle.

For instance, if a family typically travels with one or two adults and one child in a child passenger safety seat, the choices are easy, place the adults in the two front seats or seats with lap shoulder belts and place the child passenger safety seat in the center rear position.

In most vehicles, this happens to be the safest position.
