District Governor Albert Cox established this award in 1972 in honor of Herb Hennig.
Its purpose is to recognize an outstanding Club Secretary each year.
Each Lieutenant Governor may nominate one candidate.
The winner is then selected by the District Achievement Committee.
Herbert W. Hennig served the Carolinas District as Governor in 1932
and as District Secretary from 1938 to 1970 (33 years).
